Gas customers can drive down bills by 30 per cent or more via PCs
Parent company Centrica defended huge profit results for British Gas. Centrica stressed that British Gas makes up a fifth of total group profits, with 2012 figures largely propelled by a 20 per cent rise in profits at its upstream gas and oil exploration business to £1.2 billion. The British Gas residential arm managed a huge £606 million profit haul last year, prompting calls for it to use some of the money towards cutting energy bills for its 8.4 million customers.
HeatingSavedrives down gas bills by as much as 30 per cent or more. The computer controlled system works on most types of boilers, including gas, and features fuel efficient frost protection for these cold winter nights. The PC software shows you when and where you use the most energy. It allows household customers to view the data in text or graph format. You can compare different sets of data together; for instance this year’s usage to the previous year.
