HeatingSave parent company Tensor plc wins Business of the Year 2017 Award
HeatingSave is proud to announce that our parent company, Tensor plc, has won the Business of the Year 2017 Award at the 2017 Hunts Post Huntingdonshire Business Awards.
The black-tie event for this year’s awards took place on Friday, November 3rd, 2017 at the Burgess Hall in St Ives. The host for the evening was BBC TV Look East presenter Stewart White.
One of the most surprising moments of the night was Tensor winning the Business of the Year Award 2017 – despite the very tough competition Tensor were recognized as the leading company in the Huntingdonshire area due to our operations as a whole.
It was indeed a very proud moment and it further demonstrates Tensor’s ongoing success in designing & manufacturing market driven products which are both cutting edge and unique in their design, such as the HeatingSave Building Management System (BMS). In fact, according to the judges, a significant part of this award was due to the energy savings products made by HeatingSave, capable of delivering exceptional energy savings and lowering heating and electricity bills by 20/30%+.
The Hunts Post Huntingdonshire Business Awards have been in place since 1997 and since their conception they have prospered and become the leading event of their kind in the area. They recognise and reward innovation and best practice within the business community of Huntingdon.
Tensor Plc Chief Executive Ashley Smith, said: “Tensor were totally thrilled to be awarded not only the Innovation award, but Business of the Year 2017.
We did not expect either award due to the tough competition Tensor faced from such a thriving district such as Huntingdonshire.
The awards are dedicated to the hard work put in by everyone involved in Tensor and demonstrates that Tensor, although a local company is now a UK-wide & international organisation designing, developing & manufacturing market driven, state-of-the-art products in the security, time & energy management sectors.”
